Join us in the library to kick off our Parent Book Study with “The Gift of Failure” by Jessica Lahey. Muffins and coffee will be provided. Please RSVP via the Smore newsletter.
Lahey’s book focuses on a style of parenting referred to by child development experts as Autonomy-Supportive Parenting. This approach aims to help children develop into self-reliant, competent and resilient adults. The book is available at Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
